The NHMI Western conference is scheduled to take place on June 17th-20th, 2010.  This is a great opportunity to hear from the nation’s top mining historians, educators, explorers, geologists, and mining specialists.  Tours of historic mining sites are to be announced!  Before skiing became king, Park City Utah was famous for its rich, diverse mining history.  Mining sites such as the Silver King, Ontario, and dozens of other mines, created one of Utah’s most historical treasures.
